Resume Tip #23: Try to go back with your experience as much as possible

Experience is mainly characterized by two attributes: for how long and how well have you been doing it. Thus, deciding what you're going to do in your life from an early age is a huge advantage.

Tip #23: Try to go back with your experience as much as possible.

What you need to do:
  1. Find contests in which you've participated or relevant things you've achieved, that are somehow related to the position you're applying for.
  2. Be sure to add any physics or mathematics competitions if you've recently switched to computer science.
  3. Start with the first relevant competition you've participated in and continue till present (i.e. go back with your experience as much as possible).
I started loving programming when I was in the 7th grade; too late if I were to judge. However, before that, my parents used to make me participate in various competitions. Few know that I started painting when I was in kindergarten and I won a lot of painting competitions.
